Sierra Leone beaten in Niameh

Sierra Leone’s national team Leone Stars were overtaken over the weekend by their counterparts in Niameh in the qualifying rounds of the African Cup of Nations in Equitorial Guinea and Gabon.

The Sierra Leonean visitors opened the scores, but were hit back with three goals by the hosts making the score line 3-1 at the end of full time.

Niger is one point behind South Africa from three matches, while Sierra Leone have two points from three with defending Champions while Egypt managing just a single point from their three games.
