The BBC's had a "My Africa" project which featured an online diaries written about Africa by Africans as part of the celebration of “Africa 05” in Britain. The only diary from Sierra Leone was written by a hip hop DJ who works for 1Xtra (which is part of the BBC). His diary has nice pics of some key players in the salone music scene. You also get a peek into the Paradise studio.
